13th Annual "Spaghetti Dinner" Fundraiser
...will be held on Sunday, November 23rd. 2008.   This annual event continues to raise funds that support  all of the Weld County D.A.R.E. programs.  Uniformed Police Officers from Greeley, Johnstown, Evans along with Weld County Sheriff's Posse members and Weld County Sheriff's Explorers will serve the dinners.   

The Fund Raiser once again will be held at the Evans Municipal City Hall main meeting room at 1100 37th Street in Evans.  The Spaghetti dinner will be prepared by Bob and Beth Boswell, owners of  Western Sizzlin' Restaurant off highway 85 and 34th Streets in Evans.

 

 

A special appearance by "Daren" the Lion, (D.A.R.E.'s mascot), and "McGruff the Crime Dog" will be on hand to entertain the kids throughout the 4 hour dinner.

 This year for the 3rd year, the event will include a "Silent Auction" that last year generated almost a thousand dollars to benefit Weld County D.A.R.E. Programs.
