14th Annual "Spaghetti Dinner" Fundraiser
...was held on Sunday, November 22nd. 2009.   The annual event continues to raise funds that support  all of the Weld County D.A.R.E. programs.   Police Officers and Support Staff from Greeley and Evans along with Weld County Sheriff's Deputies and Posse members served the dinners.   

The Fund Raiser once again was held at the Evans Municipal City Hall main meeting room at 1100 37th Street in Evans.  The Spaghetti dinner was prepared by Bob and Beth Boswell, owners of  Western Sizzlin' Restaurant off highway 85 and 34th Streets in Evans.

 

 

 Special appearances by "Daren" the Lion, (D.A.R.E.'s mascot), and "McGruff the Crime Dog" were on hand to entertain the kids throughout the evening.

 This year for the 4th year, the event included a "Silent Auction" that generated almost a thousand dollars to benefit Weld County D.A.R.E. Programs.
